Hina Altaf, Ali Abbas starrer ‘Doar’ is another dark thriller

Geo TV has recently dropped some captivating teaser trailers for its forthcoming drama serial ‘Doar’ starring Hina Altaf and Ali Abbas as centrals. And, as the first look suggests, the screenplay is all set to explore some exceptionally dark and twisted plots that ensures to glue the audience to their television screens forever.

Directed by Mazhar Moin, under the banner of 7^th sky entertainment, the approaching adventure story ‘Doar’ has been penned down by Sajjad Gul of O Rangreza’s fame.

It features the showbiz veterans Hina Altaf, Ali Abbas, Azfar Rehman and Sania Saeed in titular characters, and is unlike the archetypal narratives. Instead, drama serial is a complete bundle of suspense, mystery, thrills, betrayal and lies, centering on Hina Altaf and her love interest Ali Abbas, whose lives are about to be shattered by the evil-minded imposter that Azfar Rehman portrays.

Drama serial Doar storyline

As assumed from the first teasers dropped by Geo TV, Azfar Rehman plays the apparently innocent, handicapped brother in law to Hina Altaf. However, there is much more to his epitome. The actor is the main antagonist of the play, and possesses obnoxious motives.

Azfrar has impure intentions towards his sister in law, and is shown harassing her every now and then. Nevertheless, on account of his seemingly helpless condition, the actor plays innocent in front of other family members. We also hear Hina Altaf calling him a monster in the teaser.

In addition, when first teaser of Doar reveals the true colors of Azfar Rehman, the second gives the insight of Sania Saeed’s character that is the second evil in the story.

Sania Saeed, who portrays Hina Altaf’s mother in law, has embraced the real cruelty and is depicted as a puppeteer who controls the lives of two puppets Hina Altaf and Ali Abbas. Judging by the second teaser, Sania is the chief evil mind behind all the mysteries and brutalities Hina faces.

Talking about his impending venture, writer Sajjad Gul had revealed bits about the timeline of Doar, saying,

“When one finds themselves threatened and backed into a corner, bringing their survival into question, they lash out at others in retaliation. The philosophy is that at certain times in one’s life, if one does not become unjust, injustice is done to them.”

Other than the four centrals, the cast of drama serial Doar also includes Iffat Raheem, Nayyar Ejaz, and Saleem Mairaj among others. The drama is slated to hit the television screens in near future. However, the confirm date is yet to be given.
