The blonde-haired Tiktoker, Kashif Zameer, who recently hosted Dirilis Ertugrul star Engin Altan during his visit to Lahore, has been taken into custody by local police authority, owing to his former criminal records. According to the reports, the aforementioned is a wanted felon and had been booked over eight times for multiple fraudulent activities.
About a week ago, news of Engin Altan’s first ever visit to Pakistan took the internet by storm. The Turkish actor, who gained popularity in the country through portrayal of Islamic soldier Ertugrul, was called to Lahore by the renowned businessman Mian Kashif Zameer.
Kashif, who happens to be a managing director of Chaudhary group of companies, had signed up Engin Altan as a global brand ambassador of his firm, after contracting a deal of about 1 million dollars with the star. Hence, the gold-laden personality had been hosting Ertugrul star throughout his short visit to the city.
Further, Kashif Zameer was spotted side by side with the Turkish celeb wherever he went. From online flashes to public conferences, the duo had been enjoying a quality time together. Nevertheless, as Engin has a huge population of admirers in Pakistan, his one after another public assemblies fetched a little spotlight on his entertainer also, unveiling his true self.
Hence, Kashif Zameer, the renowned host to Engin Altan was discovered to be a wanted bandit. On further investigation, eight cases were revealed to be registered against the fraudster, with four in Lahore and two each in Toba Tek Singh and Sialkot. The charges against him include fraud, betrayal of trust, car theft and robbery.

Kashif rejects rumors related to his deal with Engin Altan
In addition, it is also stated that the wanted outlaw had struck a deal of 1 million dollars with Engin Altan, but paid only half of it. However, prior to his apprehension, Sialkot based entrepreneur Kashif Zameer had uploaded a detailed video message, refusing the rumors about his deal with the legendary actor.
Zameer stated, “We finalized this before that half payment will be when he comes to Pakistan when ticket confirms and then half when he comes back for the shoot,” he told Daily Pakistan. “Everybody works like this. Nobody gives full payment at once, what do I know if he will come back for the shoot or not.”
“The paper that has come to the surface only shows one part of it which mentions that the total was to be $10 lac with an 80,000 agency fee- from which $5 lac, and the agency fees have been paid. And the rest will be paid after the shoot,” he clarified.
“He [Düzyatan] has no doubts about me, he knows everything. The thing is; many big brands from Pakistan even offered big payments to him to work with them but he never agreed.”
It is only luck that he came to work with me. And the same people are just showing their jealousy.”
Kashif Zameer taken into custody
According to the police party led by senior superintendent of police (SSP), the most wanted felon Kashif Zameer, together with his armed men and accomplices has been taken into custody, over his past criminal charges. He was held by Lahore police in an early Thursday morning raid.
Moreover, the accused had resisted the arrest. However a case of threatening a private reporter was reported in Lahore’s Ghalib Market Police station against him, prior to the arrest that made it convenient. Hence, Kashif lays behind the bars now.
