Our favorite charismatic devilish angel Lucifer is back on Netflix to captivate the audience once again in his sparkling persona. The fictitious American crime series Lucifer has returned with a renewed season. However, this time it’s bigger, better and loaded with barrels of surprises.
After tons of controversies and rumors, the blockbuster American fantasy Lucifer Morningstar season five drops on Netflix on 21st August 2020. In addition, the season 5 is divided into two parts, each comprising of 8 episodes. The first part will be available from next month and second part will be released after a little break.
Netflix Lucifer Morningstar timeline:
The storyline is taken from Neil Gaiman’s comic book series. The extremely charming angel Lucifer Morningstar was banished from heaven, and forced to rule hell for eternity. The King of Hell, bored with his kingdom decides to take a little vacation and returns to Los Angeles.
With his appealing personality and some compelling qualities, he is capable of getting out the deepest, darkest desires of the humans. The devil gets involved with crime investigations alongside a beautiful Detective Chloe Decker, for who he falls eventually.
He soon becomes the consultant for LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) and is quite satisfied with his work. All he wants is to assure that the right person is held responsible and given the deserved punishment.
Moreover, his father and angelic brother are determined on bringing him back to Hell, where he truly belongs, as they notice Lucifer transforming into a better person.

Crew of this exhilarating crime comedy “Lucifer Morningstar” are always working on the betterment of the show. Previously, season 5 was declared to be the last season of this thriller. However, with its massive fan following, the series is renewed for two more seasons. Season 6 would be the final season of this devilish journey. Hence, we have a bundle of evil angel episodes ahead.

Spoiler alert: Season 4 had a heartbreaking ending, with Chloe and Lucifer confessing their love for each other, saying a tearful goodbye. Later, Lucifer returns to hell after being hunt down by demons, to prevent ugly prophecy from unfolding on earth.

Lucifer season 5 has huge surprises in store. As revealed in trailer, the Lucifer that returns to earth is the twin brother who is determined on destroying the reputation that original devil turned angel Lucifer has maintained.
Moreover, the 10th episode of the upcoming season would be excitingly “musical” with our favorite devil dancing and singing himself.
The show runner Ildy Modrovich has something big for Lucifer fam, as he stated:
“We wanted to have a real grounded story reason why they’re singing and dancing, and not just, ‘Oh, this is going to be the one where everybody sings and dance. It’s been a little game of Tetris [planning the episode] but it is super fun. It’s going to be amazing. It’s going to be just such a bucket list thing for me.”
Also, singer Debbie Gibson will be making a guest appearance in this musical upcoming episode.
The trailer of Lucifer season 5 was uploaded yesterday on Netflix’s official Youtube channel. The trailer garnered3.3 million views within a day. This clearly shows how excited the Lucifer fans are!

The captivating and charismatic character of Angelic devil is portrayed by Tom Ellis.
Rumors had that Tom Ellis would be replaced with Vampire Diaries heartthrob vampire Ian Somerholder in upcoming seasons, however, show runner Ildy Modrovich was quick in debunking all the fake news.
Lauren German plays Chloe Decker, the detective and Lucifer’s love interest.
