Meherposh last episode airs tonight

The twisted love story of Mehru and Rashid is about to conclude as the last and final episode of drama serial Meherposh premieres today, at 8:00 pm, only on Geo TV. Hence, whether the windup would fit well with the audience, or it’ll just be another disappointment, that is for us to find out within a few hours.

Featuring the massively adorable showbiz couple, the spellbindingly beautiful Ayeza Khan and the charismatic Danish Taimoor as centrals, drama serial Meherposh garnered quite a few appreciations, throughout its airing period. Although, the storyline revolves around same old puzzling romance elements, the screenplay embraced some delectable plots that had the audience glued to their screens. It is therefore the reason all episodes of Meharposh had been harvesting millions of views on YouTube. And, the Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor starrer’s first episode was also regarded as the highest rated first episode of any Pakistani series.

Meherposh timeline

Drama serial Mehar Posh is a captivating narration of love, passion, revenge and mistrust, produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, inder 7^th sky entertainment. The saga unfolds with a down to earth, innocent soul Mehru, getting happily married to Naeem. However, little did Mehru know, the destiny had a cruel surprise for her in store.

On her marriage day, Mehru’s neighbor Shahjahan, who happen to be a decent and respectable guy, together with his friends passes some flirtatious comments regarding Mehru, which are overheard by her husband. Hence, Naeem starts doubting his wife’s character, followed with his aunt adding fuel to the fire about Mehru’s personality which leads to Mehru’s divorce, right on the wedding night. Hence, Mehru is sent back to her home the next day.

The story of Meherposh proceeds with Shahjahan, regretting his motion and blaming himself for Mehru’s condition. Later, Shahjahan develops a liking for the unfortunate girl. And, Meharposh follows the duo’s struggles and if interplay between love and trust will bring them together or not.

Cast

Furthermore, the drama stars Ayeza Khan as Mehru, who brilliantly embraced this epitome, whereas the character of Shahjahan has been brought to life by her off-screen husband Danish Taimoor. Meherposh was seventh project of the duo together. And, the couple, owing to their remarkable chemistry, had flawlessly ruled the television screens throughout the serial.
