Miss World 2018: Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Wins Hearts of Millions

Nepal: Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada did not win the crown at the Miss World 2018 contest but won the hearts of millions.

She made it to the top 12 finalists in the Miss World 2018. Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada won two awards at the Miss World 2018 contest,which are:

• Multimedia Award
• Beauty with a Purpose

Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada represented her country very well with pride and dignity. She fought her battle well making every Nepali proud of her.

In every contest, there are some who win and some loose but again there are some who stand out as winners even after losing. Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada is one of those, who win even after losing.

She showed to the world what Nepal is all about. She proved Nepalis are not just beautiful from outside but they have beautifulhearts as well.

Beauty With A Purpose

Miss Nepal won the Beauty with A Purpose award. Out of 25 videos shortlisted she toped and won the most deserving award. He projectwas titled “Design & builds health center for remote village”

Her projects reflect her beauty inside. Her project revolves around Chepang, an indigenous group of people living in a village located in Makwanpur District. The video of her project suggest the people of village lack basic facilities such as drinking water and hygene. The village does not even have proper roads and electricity. 

Miss Nepal is an architect by profession and she has ventured on with establishing a health center for the village. She encountered many hurdles while going through her venture. The main was road access, which she managed to over come and connected the village with proper bus route.

She has also managed to collect donations from Nepalis all around the world.

Multi Media Award

Miss Nepal also won the Multimedia award.

 Miss Nepal Shrinkhala Khatiwada is not hopeless, she is determine to be back in Nepal a do a lot for her country. She believes as a public figure she has a strong voice and will use her voice to do lot more for her country.
