These are the most searched persons in Pakistan on Google in 2020 according to the search giant’s “Year in Search” list.

1. Marvi Sirmed

Although criticized and disliked by many for her stance on feminism in Pakistan, Marvi Sirmed was among the most searched persons in Pakistan on Google in 2020 but with the wrong spellings according to the search giant who stated the term as “Marvi Sarmad”.

Marvi Sirmed gained a lot of attention during the start of 2020 after she got into a heated argument on live television with Pakistani writer and director Khalil ur Rehman Qamar over the subject Aurat March and their difference in opinion on the matter.

2. Uzma Khan

Pakistani actress Uzma Khan came in second as the most searched personality in Pakistan during 2020 after she was allegedly beaten by the daughter of real estate tycoon, Malik Riaz.

3. Joe Biden

United States President-elect Joe Biden was the third most searched personality in Pakistan on Google in 2020 because of the presidential election in the country.

4. Alizeh Shah

Alizeh Shah came in at number four in top 10 most searched person in Pakistan on Google in 2020. The actress has a huge fan base and was involved in a fake video leak scandal earlier in the year. She was also part of one of the most popular drama serials this year titled, Ehd-e-Wafa.

5. Hareem Shah

Coming in on number five is the famous Pakistani TikTok star Hareem Shah who has been in the headlines from time and time again because of her involvement with some famous personalities, including political figures.

6. Minahil Malik

TikTok star Minahil Malik came in at number six as the most searched person in Pakistan on Google in 2020. The social media star was involved in a video leak scandal a few months ago which had a great impact on her popularity.

7. Falak Shabir

Falak Shabir is one of Pakistan’s favorite singer and secured the number seven spot among the most searched personalities on Google in Pakistan during the year while his wife Sarah Khan came in at number 10.

The couple got married in July 2020 and making this list certainly proves that they’re the favorite couple in the Pakistani showbiz industry.

8. Asim Azhar

Pakistani singer Asim Azhar also made the list which isn’t surprising as the star has garnered a huge fan following especially after his involvement in this year’s Pakistan Super League aka PSL 2020 theme song.

9. Esra Bilgic

This was certainly surprising but Esra Bilgic, one of the lead stars in the most searched Pakistani TV shows came in at number 9. Esra Bilgic shot to fame in the country after the Turkish drama Dirilis Ertugrul started airing in Pakistan earlier in March.

10. Sarah Khan

Pakistani actress Sarah Khan has a huge fan following and came in at number 10 of the most searched persons in Pakistan with her husband Falak Shabir coming in at number 7.
