Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast, has secured his position as the most subscribed YouTuber on the platform, marking a monumental achievement in his career.
On June 2, the 26-year-old content creator celebrated this milestone with a joyous announcement across his social media platforms.
MrBeast’s YouTube channel has now surpassed an impressive 268 million subscribers, setting a remarkable standard in the online entertainment sphere. Renowned for his extravagant challenges and philanthropic initiatives, Jimmy Donaldson has amassed a vast audience through his captivating and innovative content.
Expressing his elation on X account, formerly Twitter, MrBeast exclaimed, “After 6 years we have finally avenged PewDiePie.” This statement referred to the famous Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie, who had engaged in a subscriber battle with T-Series but fell short of surpassing the Indian music channel to claim the top spot.
In a recent discussion with Jon Youshaei, MrBeast revealed his unwavering support for PewDiePie during their rivalry with T-Series. Reflecting on the intense competition, he acknowledged, “I got a little ‘this country versus that country’. I don’t think Felix took it there, but it even got a little racist in the sub war before. So, I’m very cognizant of it, which is why I’m not leaning into it too hard.”
Emphasizing his genuine dedication to content creation, MrBeast stated, “I just want to be the most subscribed-to channel. Yes, I have a lot of people helping me, but at the end of the day, I started this channel. I live and breathe this. I am a creator.”
