Although the traditional MTV Movie and TV Awards couldn’t come off this year due to novel pandemic, the platform had introduced a brandish category, to honor the best moments from past pop culture. Hence, on December 6, 2020, the network had put forward a new class of awards, titled Greatest of All Time – GOAT.
Hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, the 90 minutes special segment praised all the overwhelming movies and TV shows performances, from 1980 till present, followed with highlighting featured appearances of several acclaimed artists. The categories of MTV Movie & TV Awards – Greatest of All Time (GOAT) included Scream Queen, Legendary Lip Lock, Dance Your A** Off, Heartbreaking Break-Up, Comedy Giant, Zero to Hero, She-Ro, and Dynamic Duo.
Furthermore, the recently introduced award function was aired on broadcaster MTV, their website MTV.com and the network’s app. It was also available on a couple of live TV streaming services, including Philo, fuboTV, AT&T TV Now, YouTube TV and Sling TV with the Entertainment package.
Moreover, the MTV Movie & TV Awards GOAT special was also loaded with stage-rocking performances by Sia, Steve Aoki with Travis Barker. The show was also blessed with Surprising guest stars, including Neve Campbell, Sofia Carson, Lily Collins and Derek Hough among many others, making it a memorable evening.
