NCS Peshawar Under Fire Over Viral Video of Vulgar Music & Dance Event

The NCS Peshawar University has come under great public scrutiny after a viral video of a vulgar music and dance performance at an event called ‘Hunar Mela’ started making rounds on social media.

In the viral video, a female singer in a bold, inappropriate and revealing outfit can be seen dancing on stage while exposing a great deal of her body as a crowd of students watch the performance.

The incident has left social media users in shock and triggered condemnation of the event as they demand an end to such events and musical performances at educational institutions.

Netizens have taken to social media and asked authorities to take strict action against the management of NCS University Peshawar for allowing such immoral activities on campus.

It is pertinent to mention that the dance and music performance was part of an event called ‘Hunar Mela’ that is organized to showcase the skills and crafts of Pakistan.

KMU Takes Notice

Meanwhile, KMU has taken notice of the viral video of the dancing girl at NCS University Peshawar and issued a notice to the director of the institution in this regard. “Reference to a video of a dancing girl of your institute during a college function getting viral on the social media.” said the notification.

“The authorities of Khyber Medical University, Peshawar has taken serious notice of such unethical and immoral activities taking place in educational institutes.” the notification continued. “Conducting such activities with the logo and name of KMU on the stage is quite objectionable.” it added.

Furthermore, it stated that all educational institutions are bound to maintain ethical and moral standards and sanctity of the institute during all curricular and co-curricular activities.

KMU urged NCS University Peshawar to explain their position within three days on the viral video of the dancing girl during an event at their campus, otherwise strict disciplinary action will be taken against the institute, which can also result in de-affiliation.
