Swedish pop band Roxette’s lead vocalist, songwriter, pianist and painter Marie Fredriksson passed away on 9th December 2019.
Marie Fredriksson passed away on the morning hours of the 9th December at the age of 61 as a result of a previous disease Marie’s manager Marie Dimberg said in a press release.
“With great sadness, we announce that one of our greatest and most beloved artists is gone”, she said.
People on social media expressed their sadness and sorrow thoughts about the death of pop icon Marie Fredriksson.
Marie was the part of Pop-Rock duet band known as Roxette since 80s, debuts with the song ‘Never Ending Love’ with the smash hit like ‘It Must have been love’ the song was the original soundtrack of the movie ‘Pretty Woman’ starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

Roxette band sold over 75 million records across the world and well known for ballad hits like ‘Listen to your heart, So far away, you don’t understand me, I wish I could fly and many others.
