Sakina Samo supports Saba Qamar after FIR lodged against her

Pakistan actress Sakina Samo has shown support for Saba Qamar after a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against the actress / model for shooting the Nikah scene for her music video at the Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore.

The FIR was registered under Section 295 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) which pertains to  injuring or defiling places of worship, with intent to insult the religion of any class.

Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed recently shot a prologue for the music video explaining that no music was played at the time of filming or editing into the scene but people did not appreciate the duo shooting anything for a music video at a Mosque.

An FIR was registered against them and the entire crew at Lahore however, Pakistani actress Sakina Samo has come out in support of Saba also asking the actor community to do the same. In her Instagram post, she says:

In solidarity with Saba, with great sadness I say. This is utterly wrong. She’s a fine artist and a kind person. She doesn’t do anything bad to anybody. She’s happy in her world.

She also asked for the entire Pakistani actor community to come together in support of Saba Qamar calling the whole situation being exaggerated out of proportion.
