A euphonious re-mastered version of Turkish song Sen Aglama by Hadiqa Kiani achieves a milestone as it crosses 1 million views on Facebook alone.
The singing megastar nationally and internationally, Hadiqa Kiani on 19th June 2020, released her modernised version of Turkish melody “Sen Aglama,” as a tribute to the fabled Turkish series “Dirilis Ertugrul” or “Ertugrul Ghazi” on video sharing platform Youtube. The musical video was comprised of short scenarios from the series displaying the Power of Islam and bravery and courage of Muslims of the Ottoman Empire.
As “Ertugrul Ghazi” remains the unbreakable trend in Pakistan since its release, everything related to the series naturally attracts the audience, be it something related to the serial’s cast, the new channels or Pakistani celebrities’ opinions, every minor bit revolve around social sites, getting shared continuously.
Similarly, a musical tribute to the Turkish stars and series, in mellifluous voice of legendary singer Hadiqa Kiani, the recreated masterpiece “Sen Aglama” went flooding on social sites since its release, garnering unconditional praise and appreciation by Pakistani audience and consequently reaching 1 million views on world famous platform Facebook.
The 2006 tamgha-e-imtiaz winner took it to Instagram “hadiqakianiofficial”, sharing her elation and contentment with her fans on reaching this milestone.
Hadiqa captioned:
“We have hit ONE MILLION views on Facebook alone! Thank you for supporting this rendition, I am truly overwhelmed.”
Hadiqa released this track “Sen Aglama” on her Youtube channel, however a week earlier; this masterpiece was picked by PTV official as it started airing her tribute on all of its channels, with a caption:
“A tribute to Ertugrul, Sezen Aksu and Turkey by HADIQA KIANI on behalf of Pakistan.”

Sen Aglama, a soul-soothing melody was originally sung by Turkish singer Sezen Aksu in 1984. Nevertheless, Hadiqa sang it first time in 2005 at Atatürk Cultural Center Opera House in Istanbul, during her tour to the beautiful city of Turkey.
With Ertugrul Ghazi accomplishing invincible fame in Pakistan, Hadiqa Kiani made a beautiful effort to promote Pak-Turkey brotherhood and peace between two nations by recreating the tuneful Sen Aglama. The singer seemed very excited to announce it, as she penned down a brief note elaborating her love for the people of Turkey.
With her masterpiece, the “boohe baariyan” singer not only won Pakistani hearts, but also received never-ending praise by Turks, as she mentioned herself:

Apart from being a hit on Facebook, Hadiqa Kiani’s Turkish re-vocalized version of Sen Aglama also has 215K views on Youtube, with 9.4K likes within a week.
Adding to Sen Aglama’s fame, a lot of Youtubers from many parts of the world, including Saudi Arabia and Turkey have reacted to Hadiqa’s recreation on their channels, all giving positive responses and appreciating it overall.
