Hum TV has recently dropped the first teaser for its forthcoming thriller Aakhir kab Tak, starring the remarkably talented Ushna Shah alongside Azfar Rehman and Srha Asghar. By the looks of it, the drama serial is not the one typical family drama sort, but will observe an extremely intense and penetrating timeline.
The mesmerizing, hypnotic and terrifically artistic Ushna Shah is one of the few Pakistani actresses, known for embracing strong and diverse characters. The actress had stepped foot in the show business with 2013’s Meray Khuwaabon Ka diya, for which she had bagged the ‘Best Emerging Talent award’ at ‘Pakistan Media Awards.’
Ushna Shah escalated to critical eminence with 2014’s blockbuster Bashar Momin. And, since then, the actress has been unstoppable, giving back to back megahits. In 2017, Ushna Shah earned wide acclaims for going against type and portraying a prostitute in drama serial Alif Allah aur Insaan, followed with giving the undefeatable antagonist in 2018’s psychological thriller Bala. The former had earned her ‘Best negative actor’ at ‘Hum Awards.’
On the whole, Ushna Shah is a versatile actress and usually opts for challenging avatars. Some of her majorly celebrated drama serials are Bewafa, Neelam Kinaray, Bashar Momin, Cheekh, Lashkara and Thora Sa Asmaan among others. The actress was last seen in Bandhay Aik Dour Se.
However, Ushna Shah is yet again geared up to return to fascinate the audience with her acting capabilities, however, with an intense screenplay this time. Pairing up with the iconic director Syed Ali Zafar, of Bashar Momin’s fame, Ushna’s next big project is titled Aakhir Kab Tak, which will go on air from Hum TV.
Moreover, alongside Ushna Shah will be the brilliant Azfar Rehman and emerging actress Srha Asghar as centrals. Other than that, Javeria Abbasi, Shahood Alvi, Haroon Shahid, and Sara Asim are also part of the drama and will be seen in pivotal characters.

About Ushna Shah’s approaching Aakhir Kab Tak
With month of Ramadan nearing its end, the television channels are again returning to their routine screenplays, to have the audience glued to the screens even after Ramadan special shows conclude. And, even though Hum TV attracted most of the viewership this time, with its classical romantic comedies taana baana and chupke Chupke, the streamer is already onto post Ramadan content and its recent teasers justifies it.
With that being said, Hum TV has recently dropped the spine-chilling teasers for its upcoming thriller Aakhir Kab Tak that already has the audience exhilarated.
As assumed from the teasers, Aakhir Kab tak follows Ushna Shah and Srha Asghar as two sisters, living alone apparently. Srha, named Fajar, is a student, whereas her elder sister is a teacher.
First teasers opens up with a disturbing plot, in which Ushna Shah, dripping with panic, is searching for her sister, but later on wakes up to realize it was nothing but a nightmare.
However, the second teaser gives a little sneak peek into the storyline, and depicts Fajar sitting in the classroom. As her classmates leave the room, she gets locked in the classroom by a male antagonist teacher, brought to life by Azfar Rehman. It continues with Fajar crying for help, whereas Ushna, once again seeking her helpless sister, for real this time.
Aakhir Kab tak was announced previously by Ushna Shah on her instagram handle, where she had posted a portrait with Syed Ali Raza, with a caption, “@syed_ali_raza_usama & I joining hands after 7 years. Our last collaboration was a drama called Bashar Momin. This time we have something very different in store and we hope you love this as well.”
Moreover, in another post, the Teri Meri Love Story actress had also shared some behind the scenes clicks, in her forthcoming teacher epitome.
No release date is yet released for Aakhir Kab Tak. Nevertheless, the drama serial is expected to go on air after Ramadan.
