Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson are partnering up for The Devil All The Time, which is an upcoming Netflix psychological thriller film adapted from the novel of Donald Ray Pullock of same name. The movie spellbound huge audience with its bewildering timeline and all-star cast, crossing more than 5 million views within twenty-four hours on its trailer.
Directed by Antonio Compos, and produced by Jake Gyllenhaal and Randall Poster, The Devil All the Time features the two heartthrobs Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson. The edge-of-the-seat movie is scheduled to release on 16th September on world famous streaming service Netflix.
Talking about his dark, twisted project The Devil All the Time, Compos stated:
“It was a hard book to adapt also because there was so much that we loved. I’m a big fan of southern gothic and noir and this was a perfect marriage of the two. Sometimes you might be adapting a piece and you think like, well, there is a seed of a good idea here and I’ll just throw everything away and start from scratch. In this case it was like, we love everything!”
The Devil All the Time plot:
The galvanizing forth-coming American film depicts contrasting evil characters of small town of Knockemstiff, Southern Ohio. The story revolves around a young boy named Arvin Russell who sets great length to fight the evil forces that threaten him and his family.
The whole fictitious ‘The Devil All the Time’ takes place post world war 2 and unveils fates of various characters, exposing their secrets from past.
Arvin, who is the main positive character stuck in this devilish town, had a tough childhood. After his mother dies of cancer and father commits suicide, he is sent to live with his grandmother, where he crosses paths with these sinister creatures.
The dark creatures include an unholy preacher who has evilish thoughts eyes for young girls of Knockemstiff, a serial killer couple who murders for fun and a corrupt sheriff in town.
