‘The Matrix 4’ adds Christina Ricci to its star-studded cast lineup

‘The Addams Family’ star Christina Ricci has been quietly added to an already impressive cast squad of Lana Wachowski’s highly anticipated forthcoming film ‘The Matrix 4.’ The news comes from an updated press kit from Warner Bros. However, Ricci’s character alongside other A-list actors is still under wraps.

41 years old film and drama veteran Christina Ricci lies among the topnotch actresses, known to embrace unconventional characters with a dark edge. The actress had earned immense recognition and acclaims for portraying Wednesday Adams in the highly acclaimed ‘The Addams Family.’ And, ever since, Ricci has been unstoppable as she continues to give one after other critical successes.

Moreover, after portraying teen icon in several hit television shows like ‘Casper’ and ‘Now and Then’, Christina Ricci had moved a step ahead and opted for central adult avatars. Hence, her first ‘adult-oriented role in ‘The Ice Storm’ led Ricci to greater projects and numerous box office hits.

Christina Ricci’s acting credits include Sleepy Hollow, Monster, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Prozac Nation, Pumpkin, Anything Else, Black Snake Moan, Speed Racer and The Smurfs 2.

The mesmerizing and very talented Christina Ricci is all set for a brandish epitome, as she gets booked in for the fourth installment of ‘The Matrix’ franchise. Presumably titled ‘The Matrix 4’ the impending feature is written and directed by Lana Wachowski, and brings back the actress-director duo after 2008’s crime-thriller “SpHania Aamir Responds To Asim Azhar After Viral Video Backlasheed Racer.”

Furthermore, besides Christina Ricci, the movie already comprises of a star-studded cast, with franchise favorites like Keanu Reeves, Carrie Ann-Moss, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Daniel Bernhardt, and Lambert Wilson reprising their titular roles. Other newcomer cast members include Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra, and Jonathan Groff.

Ricci’s character is being kept secret as of yet, just like the movie’s timeline. However, the untitled fourth movie will be released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max on December 22^nd, 2021.
