On Monday, TikTok released its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the first quarter of this year, revealing significant actions taken against over 20 million videos.
From January to March 2024, the platform removed 20,207,878 videos in Pakistan due to violations of its Community Guidelines.
TikTok’s guidelines are enforced consistently for all content and users, aiming to maintain a safe, inclusive, and authentic environment.

The platform employs advanced technology alongside human oversight to review and address content that breaches its guidelines.
Globally, TikTok removed 166,997,307 videos, which represents 0.9% of all uploaded videos. Of these, 129,335,793 were detected and removed through automated systems, while 6,042,287 videos were reinstated after further review.
Additionally, TikTok filtered out 976,479,946 comments using its comment safety tools during this period.
In efforts to protect younger users, TikTok deleted 21,639,414 accounts suspected to belong to individuals under 13 years of age. The company also took measures to curb the spread of automated spam accounts.
“This report underscores TikTok’s steadfast commitment to transparency, safety, and inclusivity, reflecting its dedication to building trust and ensuring a secure platform for its global community,” the company stated.
TikTok highlighted that regularly publishing the Community Guidelines Enforcement Report provides insights into the scope and nature of content and account actions.
The platform also mentioned it will continue to summarize the removal of Covert Influence Operations (CIO) networks, with detailed information on individual operations available in a new standalone report.
