Gold laden entrepreneur and Tiktoker Kashif Zameer, who had previously hosted the Turkish media mogul Ertugrul Gazi during his short visit to Pakistan has been taken into police custody by the local forces. Kashif’s arrest comes off on account of multiple fraudulent activities, counting the use of fake government number plate as well as scam against Ertugrul Ghazi’s central actor Engin Altan.
Going back to December 2020, the Pakistani businessman and Tiktoker Kashif Zameer had made waves throughout the country for hosting the Dirilis Ertugrul’s famed actor Engin Altan in Lahore. At that time, Engin had visited Pakistan to contract a business deal with Kashif, who happens to be the owner of Chaudhary group of companies. Kashif Zameer had booked in the Turkish sensation as a global brand ambassador for his firm, by contracting a partnership worth 1 million with the actor.
However, few days subsequent to Engin’s visit, kashif Zameer was discovered to be a wanted bandit by the local police, with nearly eight fraud charges filed against him, with four in Lahore and two each in Toba Tek Singh and Sialkot. His former crimes included fraud, betrayal of trust, car theft and robbery. And, owing to this, Kashif was also taken into police custody by an early morning raid, however, was released on bail later.
Moreover, subsequent to the headlines of Kashif Zameer’s fraud, it was also revealed that Ertugrul Ghazi star Engin Altan had called off his business deal with the titkoker, as he scammed the actor and failed to fulfill the discussed payment. Nevertheless, Kashif had denied the news, terming it baseless rumors.

Kashif Zameer arrested
At present, the business tycoon is once again behind the bars, and for entirely brandish reasons. As per sources, Kashif Zameer was apprehended last week on various charges. However, the most prominent is using a fake number plate on his vehicle, and impersonating himself as a government official when the CIA conducted a raid.
According to Deputy Superintendant Police (DSP) CIA Mian Shafqat, a police team raided Kashif Zameer’s residence where they recovered a vehicle with a fake green number plate, arms and artificial gold jewelry.
Besides, the accused also introduced himself as a government officer before the policemen. And, later, a 9mm pistol and bullets were also recovered from his possession. Hence, an immediate case was registered against Zameer at the local police station.
In addition to this, fraud with Turkish actor Engin Altan was also reported against Kashif. According to the investigating officer, a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against the accused on an online complaint of Engin Altan.
The FIR lodged at Racecourse police station said that Kashif issued the Ertuğrul actor bogus cheques worth 80 million, against some agreements and defamed him by using his name and pictures without permission for ulterior motives.
LHC grants post arrest bail to Kashif
Furthermore, Kashif Zameer’s wife later filed a petition, challenging his arrest, and requested for his release from ‘illegal police custody.’ However, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had disposed of it, terming it ineffective in the light of police reports.
But, as on now, Lahore court on Tuesday granted post-arrest bail to TikToker Kashif Zameer. Judicial Magistrate Noushaba Yousuf approved the bail of the accused, in jail on judicial remand, subject to submission of a surety bond of Rs100000.
