Korean dramas have exploded in popularity this year with several mega-hits ruling the charts and streaming giants like Netflix has spent billions towards making Korean content in order to stay on top of the competition.

1. Island
Amazon Prime’s Island is a supernatural thriller with a stellar cast, including Cha Eun-woo, Kim Nam-gill, and Lee Da-hee. The story is based on a graphic novel and takes place on the Jeju Island, where three people must fight against an evil trying to destroy the world.

2. The Glory
Streaming on Netflix, the story revolves around the woman who was bullied into dropping out of school. As revenge, she becomes a primary school teacher and takes in the son of the man who tormented her in school.

3. Pandora: Beneath The Paradise
Disney+ Hotstar’s “Pandora: Beneath The Paradise” tells the story of Hong Tae-ra, who leads a life that is envied by most people. However, she takes a turn when her repressed memories resurface.
