Urwa Hocane and Imran Ashraf pairing up for ‘Badzaat’

The spellbindingly beautiful Urwa Hocane and the very talented Imran Ashraf, who won critical praises with their mesmerizing romance in recently concluded ‘Mushk’ has signed up for another on-screen chemistry. The actors have reportedly signed up a new project with 7th Sky Entertainment.

The enigmatic and exceptionally artistic Urwa Hocane is not a new name to Pakistani entertainment industry. Rather, the actress lies among the few veterans, who started off with television, but soon extended her career to silver screens, and at present, names among first-rate film starlets.

Urwa Hocane had stepped foot in show business as a VJ for ARY music, followed with an acting debut in 2012, with a leading role in the romantic drama Meri Ladli alongside Ahsan Khan and Sajal Ali. She later appeared in drama serials like Kahi Unkahi, Madiha Maliha, Kitni Girhain Baqi hain, Marasim and Udaari etc. The latter two had earned urwa wide accolades for portrayal of courageous characters.

Moreover, on the film front, Urwa Hocane had made her big screen debut with 2014’s Na Maloom Afrad, alongside past master Javed Sheikh, Fahad Mustafa and Mohsin Abbas Haidar. The film was a running success and won Urwa her first nomination for Best Film Actress at Lux Style Awards.

Other than that, Urwa has appeared as leading lady in Na Maloom Afrad 2, Punjab Nahi Jaaongi, and Rangreza, all of which were box office hits.

Presently, Urwa Hocane is winning hearts with the portrayal of an evil spirit in ARY digital’s haunted thriller Neeli Zinda Hai.

Furthermore, talking about the male lead of the forthcoming drama, the charismatic and extraordinarily talented Imran Ashraf possesses massive fan following, on account of his invincible acting craft. The actor is the only Pakistani celebrity who has successfully embraced all type of twisted avatars, and never failed to fascinate the viewers. Be it a transgender in Alif Allah aur Insaan, or a mentally retarded Bhola of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Imran Ashraf has been incredible. at all times

Imran Ashraf’s acting credits include Kahin Deep Jaley, Gul e Rana, Dil Mom Ka Diya, Tabeer, Jaal, Inkaar and Khuda Mera bhi Hai among others.

At recent times, the actor has the audience devoted the character of Musa, that he plays in Hum TV’s popular Raqs-e Bismil, opposite Sarah Khan.

After the crucial success of their romantic saga Mushq, Urwa Hocane and Imran Ashraf are all set to set the captivate the audience in their mesmerizing chemistry yet again. The highly renowned Guddi and Adam duo will now star in upcoming drama serial Badzaat.

Written by Misbah Nausheen of Meherposh’s fame, the impending venture is being directed by Siraj ul Haq. And, although no further details have been revealed as of now, Badzaat will go on air from Geo TV, under the banner of 7^th Sky entertainment.

Aside from Urwa Hocane and Imran Ashraf, badzaat will also house a star-studded cast, but that is still under wraps.
