Veteran Pakistani actor, Qavi Khan, has passed away at the age of 80 in Canada due to a prolonged illness.
According to media reports, Qavi Khan had moved to Canada for his treatment and died late on Sunday, confirmed Arts Council Karachi President, Muhammad Ahmad Shah.
Qavi Khan had received Nishan-e-Imtiaz, which is the highest civil award in Pakistan, for his contribution to the field of showbiz.
The late actor was one of the most respected and revered professionals in the industry and had a career spanning over four decades.
Khan had worked in all mediums of entertainment, including television, radio, and theatre.
Some of Qavi Khan’s popular TV dramas included Dhoop Kinare, Ankahi, Tanhaiyan, Humsafar, and many more.
