As the coronavirus outbreak worsens throughout the world and cinemas and theaters are close, upcoming movies have been delayed and Wonder Woman 1984 (WW84) is just the latest addition to the list.
Wonder Woman 1984 (WW84) has been delayed until 14 August 2020 due to the current outbreak of COVID-19 and the news has been confirmed by Warner Bros.
WW84 is the squeal to the 2017 DC Comics movie Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot. The movie was previously set for June release date but as all most cinemas and movie theaters around the globe are closed to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the release of the movie has been delayed.

Earlier there were rumors that WW84 is getting an online release however it has been confirmed that it will not be the case and the movie will release across cinemas at a later date which is currently set for 14 August.
Gal Gadot took to Instagram to respond to the news of the delay of the movie saying:
In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of cinema together again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020. I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all.
