Maria B launches her jewelry collection

The preeminent and fore-most fashion designer of Pakistan, Maria B or Maria Belal Butt has just launched her Jewelry Collection taken a step ahead from upmarket clothes, fragrances and accessories.

Expanding her clothing brand named Maria B, the legendary couturier is prepared to premiere her eye-catching jewelry collection, collaborating with some best jewelry makers of Pakistan. As the designer quoted, “It’s time to do justice to the huge jewelry industry of Pakistan.”

The news was announced by Maria B herself, through her official Instagram profile. In a brief video, Maria B excitedly gave out all details related to her forthcoming jewelry collection. She also mentioned this to be her dream project and that she had been willing to do it since 20 years of life.

Present at Haweli Baroodkhana for shoot, the designer also revealed the face of Maria B jewelry collection at launch. Dressed up in perfectly designed bridal attire, carrying the masterpieces of Maria B’s jewelry around her neck, wrists, ears and fingers was the breathtakingly beautiful young starlet Alizeh Shah, doing justice to the get-up. According to Maria, she had immediately decided to work with Alizeh, after she watched her excellent performance in Blockbuster serial “Ehd-e-Wafa.”

In a detailed recording, Maria also praised her young model, saying she looked no less than an old-times crowned princess, ready to be seated at her thrown, as the venue gave out king’s age vibes.

However, in her thorough announcement, there was one thing that caught viewer’s attention. Maria had mentioned her latest jewelry collection to be extremely affordable. Elaborating the term “affordable” Maria continued the price of her collection to be starting from 2K to 16-18K maximum.

As the range of her jewelry pieces is not affordable for huge population, the couturier once again became target of social media trolls. Maria B is a leading clothing brand of Pakistan, founded almost 21 years ago by Maria Belal Butt in Lahore. Nevertheless, at present, there are about 20 outlets of couture in all over Pakistan. The outlet sells out exclusive stitched and un-stitched dresses, fragrances, bags, accessories, cosmetics and much more and is now headed towards jewelry market.
