Four soldiers, including two majors were martyred when a Pakistan Army Aviation helicopter crashed in Minimarg village near Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) on Saturday according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.
The army helicopter crashed “due to technical reasons” according to the statement by ISPR.
The Pakistan Army helicopter was evacuating the body of martyred soldier Sepoy Qadeer to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Skardu when the incident occurred.
The following officers and soldiers were martyred in the Pakistan Army helicopter crash in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB):
- Pilot Major M. Hussain
- Co-Pilot Maj Ayaz Hussain
- Naik Inzimam Alam
- Sepoy Muhammad Farooq
