KARACHI: Secretary Health Dr Fazlullah Pechuho on Tuesday inaugurated first Telemedicine Center at Sindh Government Children Hospital in the metropolises’ New Karachi.
While speaking to media Dr Pechuho said that we (Sindh government) is providing such technologies to other healthcare facilities of the department, adding that a pediatric consultant round the clock will be available for the needy patients at the Telemedicine Center.
The secretary health said that the monitoring and evaluation of NGOs are ongoing and those organisations who are not implementing SOPs will face fines and the government reserves the right to discontinue their contracts.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Asif Zaman, the medical superintendent of Sindh Government Children Hospital said that our prime responsibility is to provide quality healthcare to our patient and that’s why with the collaboration of Child life foundation we are starting this Pediatric Telemedicine clinic.
