The Warrior
Looking for rhyme
Amidst the chaos
Looking for peace
Amidst the confusion
Looking for a hero
Amidst the cowardice
Looking for expression
Amidst the depression
Looking for love
Amidst the hate
Looking and searching
Amidst feelings and dreams
Amidst the innocence of youth,
We called you Ghazi
Not knowing then
The person in you
is the epitome
of the meaning
Of this calling,
Ghazi means a warrior
And that is what you are
A warrior hero
Not many saw
The hero in you
If only sister love
Could replace the displacements
You have had to endure
Amongst those who sought only Inheritance
Those who are caught up
in the whirlpool
Of rebellious youths
who confused Slavery of habit
with freedom,
with cold ulterior motives
With the hip-hop
of the Developed nation
Your motive to loyalty
They cannot understand
Your immense sense of responsibility
They will not admit to
They are where they are
You are way above
At a level that commands
Respect and honor
Always with dignity,
you have lived
May your strengths and your wisdom
Shine forth forevermore
The above was written to honor the hardships encountered by a Lady, who against all odds and difficulties, at every corner of her life, turned the impossible into productivity and accomplishment.
She nursed her Dear husband whilst he battled with cancer. They did everything they could to fight and overcome it, sadly, after six years of the battle he passed away. Then, during the process of attempting to establish a source of income, she decided to construct a building on a small piece of land that she purchased in the F-15/1 Sector, in October 2017. The obstacles and hurdles that were thrust upon her are too numerous, so incredulous and heartbreaking; in spite of which she miraculously managed, with Allah’s Great Mercy to complete the structure, pouring into its every grain of sand, bricks and mortar her dedication, her pure raw ability to tirelessly continue with dedication her mission, she completed the task, her project – single-handed.
People from all walks of life would come to view her building, only to say: ‘…the building is beautifully made and immaculately detailed but because of its location, it is impossible to get to…” These kinds of discouraging comments went on for two years… The constant question then arose: ‘…what was to be done at the plaza that she had constructed?’
Then Corona happened, at a pandemic scale bringing with it ‘lockdown periods’, the shutdown of shops, schools, and all other important institutes. Opening and closing of schools during lockdown due to the virus scare swept away the young students’ discipline of waking in the mornings and the associated preparations for school. A decline came about in quality and volume of learning because people were not familiar with online schooling. Many of the grown-ups also had to remain home and work online, bringing with it extraordinary stress within the home, in many cases.
Ghazi the warrior realized that the human brain, body, and breath when balanced with perfection is the most amazingly creative, innovative mechanism capable of far greater output than we permit. So she set up a practice and called it: Brain-Body Breath Balance (BBBB). It is based on some very basic beliefs that everything happens for the best and to ensure that she devised a program of movements that connects learning, memory, and cognitive abilities in a way that enables people to master their innate capabilities and rise above lethargy, depression, and negativism.
Once she made the decision to turn things around, to replace discouragement with inspiration and refresh hope for the families. She wanted to help people to strengthen their inner core in order to utilize their incredible innate capabilities ingrained in the person at birth, which only needs to be brought out, within the right environment and with guidance. So she set up classes for Ladies and Children in a safe, secure, and clean environment, with health and safety elements in place.
Within three months we started the practice. Procuring and assembling every aspect with her wit, strength, and with her bare hands. She opened the doors to the Ladies and Children at large, it is mostly families living in our JKCHS Society, who have responded.
She demonstrated how to be bold and brave in the face of adversities. And that is exactly what she is teaching the mothers and the children attending her classes.
Classes started on the First of December 2021. We receive inquiries from people who want to attend, but their dilemma is that they cannot get to the premises, due to the traffic load on the GT Road. As yet, Alhamdulillah, we have the most adorable group, albeit of very small numbers, they are all from the local community, who live just walking distance away.
This incredible Lady warrior, who constructed the building and got the Brain-Body Breath Balance program up and running, is doing her utmost to rise above the local and global dilemmas which come as a blow and created immense hindrance, amongst many one very famous was Corona, and constant imposition of control by invading the space of the masses; with BBBB one learns to take stock of ones’ own inner core strengths and move forward with positivity. Great goals do not take place overnight; the significance of every BBBB movement builds with subtle step-by-step, breath by breath gradation of building ones’ strengths and confidence.
We get inquiries about the program, with a series of questions: do we have gym equipment and machines for exercise? Ultimately the best machine is our body; the best equipment is the space around us, the floor, and the walls. We engage the right, the left, the front, the back, the up and the down levels all around us, we engage our breath and the various parts of ourselves with gentle movements, and we build up to advance levels, with time we increase the repetitions; to do this one does not need machines.
