National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Wednesday launched the ‘Rahbar Mobile App’ to facilitate citizens across Pakistan. According to the details, the Rahbar Mobile App will help find the nearest NADRA Service Centre and much more through simple clicks on a citizen’s mobile phone.
Chairman NADRA, Tariq Malik, said that citizens residing inside Pakistan will be able to know about the location of NADRA center that best suits their vicinity. NADRA’s Rahbar App will help citizens to make well-informed decision about visiting any NADRA centre by informing them of location, distance, number of applicants-in-waiting, and average processing time through their mobile phones.
The NADRA Rahbar App will ensure convenience and auto-facilitation for a common citizen along with cementing the direct partnership between NADRA services and the society as a whole. The chairman added that such initiatives towards a digital Pakistan aim at converting NADRA offices to citizen service centers, rather than only registration centers.
He said that NADRA’s services will now be seen in the public eye, which is going to make the authority transparent and accountable to the people of Pakistan, which is the true manifestation of digital Pakistan and e-governance.
NADRA’s Rahbar App will provide much-needed information to citizens like number of people in waiting, processing time and the location of NADRA registration centers in real time so they can plan their visit accordingly. Furthermore, the app would display the offices in a list view as well as on a map.
The map would also show the location of nearby Mobile Registration Van along with the registration office, making it convenient for users to navigate towards any NADRA center with ease. The Rahbar App also comprises filters to sort the centers, including female-only centers, 24/7 NADRA centers and regular and Executive NADRA centers.
Moreover, the app has an auto-refresh feature that would operate every three minutes to provide latest data to the citizens. The mobile app also has its own search engine that enables the search of all NADRA’s offices through City, Name, or Location.
Best of all, NADRA’s Rahbar App is designed both in Urdu and English.
Rahbar Mobile App can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store which can easily be accessed from all over Pakistan.
