The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has shared a list of illegal and un-authorized housing schemes in Islamabad as well as highlighted the issue of illegal marketing of such housing societies.
Furthermore, the list of illegal housing schemes will help any potential investors and buyers from making an informed decision before spending their hard-earned money on these non-approved CDA projects.
CDA is responsible to regulate the planning and development of all housing schemes, which require a two tier approval from the authority. In the first step, Layout Plans (LOP) are approved and after the completion of subsequent formalities, the No-Objection Certificates (NOC) are issued for the development of these housing societies.
However, there are many illegal and un-authorized housing societies that are selling their plots / homes after marketing them under the name of the Capital or Islamabad without the proper approval from CDA.
The CDA has warned such housing schemes from carrying out illegal advertisement by refraining from using the name of Islamabad or the Capital while advertising, booking, or selling their projects.

What we Overseas Pakistanis who bought plots on installments in these societies steps can be taken to secure our rights ? Shall we sue CDA or society owners ? or shall we approach Federal Ombudsment man ?

CDA, RDA etc are full of culprit officers /officials they allowed to sale & construction. At that time they closed their eyes and ears & take action when they have committed fraut to innocent people.
My suggestion to both deptts that when they launched/advertised any housing society; both deptts should call for scrutiny of land, layout plan sale of files according to land NOC nd after that keep eyes on them.

اب سی ڈی اے کو جاگ آئ جب سب کچھ آباد ہو چکا۔ یہ سب 20 سے 30 سال پہلے کیوں نہ ہوا جس وقت یہ زمین بک رہی تھی اور گھر بن رہے تھے اس وقت سی ڈی اے کے افسران حرام اکٹھا کر رہے تھے۔ ان حرام خوروں کے خلاف کون اقدامات کرے گا۔ ان سے حساب کون لے گا۔ آج عوام کی جمع پونجی سے بناۓ یہ گھر اس ادارے کو نظر آنا شروع ہو گۓ۔ آ

Why CDA didnt ban these illegal projects at the time of their launching 20 – 30 years back.Were the staff and officers of CDA sleeping or earning money and noe when public invested their hard earned money like in Ghauri Town Phase 5 and in other dozen societies they woke up.The residents of these societies invested million rupees by constructed multi stories buildingd and houses.This is hallarious that after passage of long 20years the CDA declared it illegal.Who is responsible for this negligence,the builders, residence or CDA.Who will compensate the residence.The CDA being a Capital development Autjority must forsee the being initiated within its domain and if found illegal must halt it timely instead of 20-30 years latter.
