The Federal Government has hiked the Federal Excise Duty (FED) an raised the General Sales Tax (GST) from 17% to 25% on the sale of cigarettes.
As a result, the famous cigarette brands like Gold Leaf, Dunhill, Capstan have raised their prices in Pakistan.
Gold Leaf Price in Pakistan
The price of Gold Leaf in Pakistan is now Rs. 500, which is nearly double compared to the previous rate of the cigarette.
Capstan Price in Pakistan
Meanwhile, the price of Capstan in Pakistan is now Rs. 220, which is also nearly double the previous rate for the cigarette.
