The caretaker Chief Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, unveiled the latest version of the Driving License Information and Management System (DLIMS 2.0). This system enables residents in Punjab to conveniently apply for a learner’s driving license through the Punjab Police app or the DLIMS web portal.
The initiative addresses the challenges faced by citizens in Punjab, who previously experienced extended queues and prolonged waiting periods at driving license centers. This situation arose following the provincial government’s stringent measures against underage drivers and individuals operating vehicles without a valid driving license.
