According to voters on social media, their polling stations have been moved by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to far-off locations from their earlier voting center, while some have even claimed that their votes have been annulled as they have been declared dead by the electoral authority.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been urging people to check their vote registration and change their polling station if required. The process is fairly simple but requires a bit of hassle as voters will need to visit their nearest ECP office.
How to Check Vote Registration Details?
You can check your vote registration details by sending an SMS with your CNIC number to 8300. In the response, you will receive details on your polling station for the upcoming general elections and if required you have until June 19 to change your voting center / station.

It is a fairly simple process to change your polling station for the upcoming general elections in 2023 and we have provided a step-by-step guide on this matter. It bears mentioning that last date to change your voting station is June 19, so it is recommended that you get the required details and take action on this as soon as possible.

Step 1: Send SMS to 8300
First you need to check vote registration details by sending an SMS with your CNIC number to 8300. In response, you will be provided with details to your polling station. If these are correct, you don’t need to do anything, however, if there is an error and your location is somewhere far from your residence, you can change it by following the next steps.
Step 2: Finding The Nearest Display Center
If you find that your vote is registered in another city or some far-off location, you will need to find the nearest ECP Display Center. The list of these Display Centers is provided by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on their website at ECP Display Centers (CLICK HERE). Furthermore, the Display Centers will remain open on Saturday.
Step 3: Fill Out Form 15
In order to change your polling station before the upcoming general elections, you need to first download and fill out Form 15 and take it along with your CNIC to the nearest Display Center from the list above. (Form 15 Download Link)
