Update: Rawalpindi Traffic:
Due to arrival of JUI-F rally participants, authorities have blocked Murree Road traffic from moving towards Faizabad and diverting the traffic on Double Road (Stadium) towards 9th Avenue.
Update: G9-Markaz road to Kashmir Highway has been blocked, use an alternative route.
Update: Metro Bus Service will remain closed on 31st October 2019.

Azadi March – Proposed Islamabad Traffic Plan
As per sources, the section of the march coming from the G.T Road will enter the capital from Rawat and use the Expressway I.J.P Road and 9th Avenue to get to the venue.
The section coming from the motorway will use Kashmir Highway, and these roads will be closed when the rally nears.
The Read Zone has been partially sealed and entry into this area has been restricted until the march concludes.

Route for General Public
This is the route that you have to follow for general traffic travel within the intercity.
NOTE: Avoid Kashmir Highway at any cost
Route for New Airport
This is a long route only to be used for traveling to and from Motorway (M2) and New Airport.
Route for Participants of Azadi March
If you are not participating in JUI-F Azadi March on 31st October 2019 then kindly avoid this route.
Rawalpindi Traffic plan 31st October
According to Sources, the participants of the march coming from Punjab will be diverted to the Islamabad Expressway from T-Chowk, Rawat to Faizabad.
From there they will head towards Peshawar Mor. The Rallies from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be diverted to Kashmir Highway, while rallies from Murree and Azad Kashmir will reach Faizabad and then take 9th Avenue to the venue.
Please avoid unnecessary movement during these days.
