The Motorway MTAG will cost Rs. 200 starting 1 January 2022 for all vehicles and today (31 December 2021) is the last day to get MTAG for Free.
The announcement was made via One Network, the department responsible for managing the MTAG Registration and Recharge, on Twitter. “Rs. 200 charges for M-TAG registration will be effective from 1st January 2022.” said One Network on Twitter regarding the cost of MTAG from 1 January, 2022.

It is pertinent to mention that MTAG has been made mandatory for travel via Motorway by the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) from 7 December 2021.
