Islamabad, December 5, 2024: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and the National Response Center for Cyber Crime (NR3C) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cybersecurity cooperation in Pakistan. This MoU is a significant step toward ensuring a robust and secure digital infrastructure in the country.
During the signing ceremony, representatives from both organizations highlighted the importance of joint efforts to address cybersecurity challenges and threats at the national level. The MoU aims to establish a secure digital framework, ensuring data protection and improved cybersecurity for the citizens of Pakistan.
The Chairman of PTA emphasized the necessity of collaboration for a safer digital ecosystem and recognized the FIA’s NR3C as a crucial partner in achieving this goal. The Director General of NR3C also stressed the importance of this collaboration in mitigating growing cyber threats, highlighting the need for coordinated and practical solutions to safeguard national digital assets.
