The new budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024–25 brings a revision to income tax rates for both salaried and non-salaried individuals and AOPs.
The changes mean that people with higher incomes will pay more in tax this fiscal year, putting a lot of pressure on the masses amid sky-high inflation.
However, the new income tax rates insure that people with higher incomes pay significantly more by putting less pressure on the lower tax brackets.
