Islamabad: A warning notice has been issued to the owners of Petrol Pumps and CNG Stations on account of the Cleanliness Drive. On the initiative of the Clean and Green Pakistan the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, Government of Pakistan has issued a warning notice.
It has been highlighted in the warning notice that in pursuance of Government of Pakistan’s drive on cleanliness all owners of the petrol pump and CNG station owner are directed to observe and maintain cleanliness at all times.
They have been directed to keep the cleanliness at all times of the washrooms/ bathrooms/ toilet facilities and the general area at the oil and gas stations.
OGRA has also warned that non-compliance of regulator’s directive shall result in appropriate punitive action

Clean and Green Pakistan has been PTI’s Government major concern. The nation knows the Prime Minister Imran Khan started the tsunami of Tree campaign in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Since PM Imran Khan joined his office he has been giving special attention to Clean and Green Pakistan. He launched “Clean and Green Pakistan” initiative earlier this month.
Addressing at the launch ceremony he had highlighted the shortages of Public toilets in Pakistan, one of the reasons foreigners hesitate visiting Pakistan.
Pm Imran Khan had urged the civil society members to complement the efforts of the Government in creating awareness on sanitation and environment issues.
He had also stated that cleanliness would form a part of the syllabus from class one to class five.
The Clean and Green Drive Action Day campaign was inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan himself by planting a tree at a local college in the capital city of Islamabad.
