Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has just announced an increase in the price of its Internet Packages in Pakistan.
According to PTCL, the decision to raise price of internet packages has been taken because of the increase in business costs beyond the company’s control.
The company has started sending messages to customers informing them of the increase internet prices that are applicable from April 1, which means that PTCL bills to be received for the current month will include additional charges.
According to the company’s message, the price of PTCL 25 Mbps Package has been raised from Rs. 3,445 to Rs. 4,052 (without tax), while price inclusive of tax will be Rs. 5253, which is an increase of Rs. 523 for the mentioned package.

Meanwhile, the price of other PTCL Internet Packages has also seen an increase. However, PTCL has not updated the website with the new rates yet.
This increase in internet prices makes PTCL one of the most expensive ISP for the average consumer as there is a lot of competition in the market and other ISPs are offering better packages at lower rates.
