How to report Ehsaas Kafalat Program 2021 FAKE SMS and Calls

Dr. Sania Nishtar addressing the general public through a video message has alerted of Fake SMS and calls regarding Ehsaas Kafalat Program 2021 which are circulating on social media and through SMS. The people can report these scams by calling on the numbers provided by her.

These days misinformation about the Ehsaas Kafalat Program 2021 is circulating through fake SMS and calls telling people that their application in the programme has been approved and asking for their personal information.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Social Security and Poverty Alleviation (SAPM) Dr. Sania Nishtar has alerted the public saying that all official Ehsaas Program SMS are received through the 8171 number. If SMS is received through any other number then be aware it will be a fake SMS. Ehsaas does not send any messages vis other numbers such as any eleven digit mobile numbers.

How to report fake SMS and calls regarding Ehsaas Programme?

If any Fake SMS and call regarding Ehsaas Kafalat Program 2021 is received from any other numbers people can report it by calling on the following cell numbers.

• 0335-1058050
• 0335-1058051

Ones the complaint on the Fake SMS and call on Ehsaas Programme is received on the above numbers, the authorities will contact PTA and have those SIMs blocked.

Fake information on social media

Apart from Fake SMS and call on Ehsaas Programme, such fake information is also circulating on social media. Showing the fake links and fake apps in her video message Dr. Sania Nishtar has urged people to stay alert and stay safe from such fraudulent schemes.

Dr. Sania added that these fraudulent people want to cheat innocent people and grab money from them. Warning the schemers she said they will be strictly dealt with.

The registration of Ehsas is only done through Ehsas Survey and Ehsas Desk. There is no registration fee for Ehsaas Program. The Ehsaas Survey Team collects information of the beneficiaries by going door to door.

The Ehsaas Desk will be established in every Tehsil so that the beneficiaries and personally visit the Desk and register themselves in case the Ehsaas Survey team is unable to reach them.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the Ehsaas Desk were temporarily closed down but they will open as soon as the situation is under control again.

The public will be informed as soon as the Ehsaas Desk are open again personally by Dr. Sania Nishtar and a list of Ehsaas Desk along with their location will be issued.

Dr. Sania Nishtar has requested to spread this message among the masses to avoid any financial loss.
