ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has decided to extend the registration deadline of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) till July 31, 2020.
The Presser issued by PTA states ” In order to facilitate businesses and general public for registration of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), PTA has decided to extend the VPN registration deadline for a period of one month to 31st July, 2020.Legitimate VPN users are requested to approach their internet service provider for initiating VPN registration process.”

The decision is taken after two instances where teens committed suicide who used to play the game. There have been a lot of petition files in the Lahore High Court (LHC) to ban the online multiplayer game.
