SRINAGAR: The Symbol of resistance Veteran Kashmiri Hurriyat leader and Chief of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Syed Ali Shah Geelani passed away at the age of 92, on Wednesday in Srinagar, Indian Occupied Kashmir. He was known as the Father of Kashmir’s Freedom movement from the Indian Occupation.
The news was confirmed by APHC Leader Abdul Hameed Lone, In a statement, Lone said Syed Ali Geelani died at 10 pm at his residence in Srinagar Kashmir
The Curfew has been imposed in the Indian Occupied Kashmir as the hundreds of Indian forces were deployed right outside his residence, police requested people not to go out on the streets.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, Tweets, “Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Kashmiri freedom fighter Syed Ali Geelani who struggled all his life for his people & their right to self-determination. He suffered incarceration & torture by the Occupying Indian state but remained resolute. We in Pakistan salute his courageous struggle & remember his words: “Hum Pakistani hain aur Pakistan Humara hai”. The Pakistan flag will fly at half mast and we will observe a day of official mourning.“
