LAHORE: Eleven students in Punjab have been accused of cheating for their English Matric exam, which is a huge problem for the integrity of the testing process.
The Lahore authorities detained five people who claimed to be students and who were possibly going to pose as students during the exam. This incident emphasizes the need for more rigid approaches in order to guarantee that the testing is honest and faithful.
The Lahore Education Board, through its spokesperson, has put an emphasis on the need for vigilant and strict monitoring of exam centers to prevent such infractions.
The chairman of the Punjab Boards Committee shared his reservations and sought an improved monitoring system to protect the integrity of the exam process. He stressed the need for higher control at all the examination centers within the province and invoked action against any ignoramus who is involved in supporting the cheating, showing disdain towards them as a “booti mafia.”
Measures taken are geared toward making it impossible for students to cheat on exams again and protecting the reputation of the educational entity. “We submit daily notes on exam activities to authorities to raise concerns promptly.” he added.
