A 5.0 magnitude earthquake jolted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) with tremors being felt as far as Islamabad. The earthquake tremors were felt in several areas of KPK, including Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, and Swat.
According to the details, the earthquake had a depth of 175 kilometers with the epicenter being in the Hindu Kush region.
However, there are no reported causalities or damages reported from the earthquake.
It is pertinent to mention that last month, an earthquake of 5.9 magnitude jolted the twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi with tremors felt in several other cities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab province.
