LAHORE: Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas updates about Schools/Academies/Tuition Centers and Madrasas to be closed from tomorrow 26th November, 2020.
The Education Department Punjab has issued a notification that all activities at Schools (Private/Public), Madaris, Tuitions Centers/Academies to be closed from 26 November to 24 December 2020.
According to the notification, The School Education Department will separately issue instructions for teaching/learning from home/online classes later today.
The decision of home/online studies was taken after National Command & Operations Center (NCOC) updated about the Covid-19 Second wave, the number of cases are rising on daily basis putting overload on the healthcare system.
To ensure the safety of the children/students NCOC and Federal Education Ministry along with Provincial Ministers took the decision to suspend all activities at Schools/Colleges and Universities from 26 November till 24 December, 2020.

Winter Vacations will start from 25th December till 10th January, 2021 the notification is expected to be issued before 24th December, 2020.
