Another woman has come forward in the ongoing harassment case of Usman Mirza and said that she was also harassed and blackmailed by the accused for a long time.

“Usman Mirza had been harassing me for quite some time,” the woman told the media. “”Usman Mirza sent me my home address and mobile number on social media.”

She added that Usman Mirza told her that he had all her personal information and threatened to show up at her home if she did not become friends with him.

The victim also revealed that she had filed a complaint regarding the matter with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Cell in Rawalpindi but her request was ignored by the anti-cybercrime body.

Usman Mirza Tortures Islamabad Couple

Usman Mirza ignited widespread outrage on social media after the leaked viral video showed the culprit severely torturing and forcing a couple to strip naked at gunpoint as well as allegedly raping the girl with the help of his accomplices.

Islamabad Police arrested Usman Mirza and his accomplices shortly after the viral video starting making rounds on the internet and lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against Usman Mirza under Section 341, 506-II, 509, 354A and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

However, the police later added more sections to the FIR, including Section 375-A, 375-D, 384, 342, 114, 395, 496-A, and 377-B of the Pakistan Penal Code.

During the investigation it was revealed that Usman Mirza had extorted Rs. 1.1 million form the Islamabad couple on separate occasions by blackmailing them.

The police also revealed that the Islamabad couple was filmed for nearly 2.5 hours in the presence of 14 people.

“Usman Mirza and accomplices have spent six days in remand and police have recovered two mobile phones and a pistol from the prime suspect’s custody,” the government lawyer said.
