NEELUM VALLEY: Indian Army resorts to unprovoked firing along Line of Control (LoC) killing at least four civilians have been killed along with another 28 injured in Neelum Valley including women and children.
According to the details, firing incidents are being reported from several areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) resulting in several deaths and damage to civilian property.
As a result, Pakistan’s Foreign Office has summoned a senior Indian diplomat over the recent escalation along the Line of Control (LoC) especially in the Neelum Valley on Friday which clearly goes against the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding.
Twitter is trending with hashtag #NeelumValley with people from the region sharing live pictures and video footage of the atrocities being carried out by Indian army.
National Security Analyst Zaid Hamid took to Twitter providing an update on the matter saying:
Houses burning on the Pakistani side of Kashmir as massive artillery barrages are coming in from the Indian controlled side,
Indians have opened up multiple fronts on the line of control,
So far it is artillery shelling,
But there is definitely an invasion plan as well.
