Thirty-nine billion rupees are required for the ongoing reconstruction projects in the earthquake 2005 affected areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
This was stated by the Secretary State Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Authority (SERRA) Sardar Muhammad Farooq Tabbasum while addressing a news conference in Muzaffarabad on Friday.
He said 166 billion rupees have been spent out of 205 billion estimated cost of the reconstruction program.
He said the projects assisted by Chinese government have been completed while those sponsored by Saudi Arab and Kuwait are underway.
He also informed that 1533 projects are in the final stage of completion while work on 909 projects is to be launched.
