Pakistan : Cellular services suspended in 59 cities

Cellular services have been suspended in 59 cities across the country as part of security arrangements for Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) gatherings and processions.

According to the reports, Karachi, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Mirpirkhas, Sukkur, Larkana and Nosheroferoz are facing cellular services suspension in Sindh Province.

In Punjab province, the services were suspended in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Multan Dera Ghazi Khan, Rahim Yar Khan, Bhakkar, Daria Khan, Sahiwal, Chichawatni among various areas.

In Balochistan, only provincial capital Quetta is facing cellular services suspension, while in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ban on bike riding has been imposed in Dera Ismail Khan till midnight and pillion riding has been banned in District Tank for indefinite period.
