KARACHI: A tragic accident took the life of a two-and-a-half-year-old toddler after being hit by a bus near Jamali Bridge on the Super Highway in Karachi.
The toddler, named Farhan, was with his mother when the bus hit him. The body has been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal proceedings.
Earlier, a person was also killed in the Korangi Industrial Area after being hit by a trailer.
The deceased person was identified as Adnan, a retired employee of a government agency.
According to police officials, the trailer driver was arrested at the scene and transferred to the police station. Before that, citizens attempted to catch and assault the driver, but the police thwarted their efforts.
