A case has been registered against the boatman responsible for the Keenjhar Lake accident which killed ten people including two children yesterday in Thatta District of Sindh.
The boatman involved has been taken into custody and a case has been registered against him for negligence and carelessness at the Keenjhar Lake police station.
According to reports, the boat was carrying 13 passengers which included 11 women and 2 children when the seating capacity was only four which caused the boat to overturn.

Ten people lost their lives in the accident that occured at Keenjhar Lake. These casualties included two children while there survivors were recorded and shifted to the nearby hospital in critical condition.
Chief Secretary Sindh Mumtaz Ali Shah also took the notice of the incident and instructed that everyone affected should be facilitated in every way possible.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also expressed sadness over the incident and said that an inquiry should be made into the matter.
