The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on the first day of the auction of plots auctioned four plots for Rs. 7.743 billion. According to CDA, the first day of the auction was attended by a large number of investors and healthy competition was witnessed.
According to the details, on the first day of auction of residential and commercial plots, the plot # 53F measuring 666.67 square yards and located at I-8 Markaz was auction for Rs. 1 billion and 42 lacs.
Similarly, the plot # 53D measuring 666.67 square yards at the same location was auctioned for Rs. 1 billion and nine crore. As for the third plot, which was plot # 28 measuring 711.11 square yards at G-11 Markaz, the CDA was able to auction this for Rs. 1.16 billion.
Meanwhile, the plot # 8 measuring 2666.66 square yards at Blue Area was auctioned for 4.45 billion. Thus, on the first day of auction, four plots were auctioned for Rs. 7.743 billion and the auction will continue until October 20.
The CDA auction is offering residential and commercial plots of different categories at various Markaz, including Blue Area and E-11 Northern Strip. It must be mentioned that Park Enclave Commercial, Class II Shopping Centers, Agro Farms, Apartments and Industrial Plots will be offered for auction during the 4 days.
Plots of fruit, vegetable and meat shops along with I-11 markets will also be offered for auction, while for the first time, CDA will auction plots allocated for hostels. Furthermore, residential plots will also be included in the auction.
The auction is being supervised by the auction committee headed by Member Estate an bids received after thorough scrutiny will be placed before the CDA Board, which is the competent forum to accept or reject the bids.
