CM Naqvi promptly addressed complaints about delays in license renewal, taking immediate action on the spot to resolve these issues. Upon noticing a significant crowd at the entrance of the Police Khidmat and Tahaffuz Markaz Liberty, he personally engaged with citizens patiently waiting in long lines. CM Naqvi spoke with individuals seeking licenses and learner permits, gaining valuable insights into their experiences.
Expressing concern for those waiting, CM Naqvi instructed the installation of canopies and provided comfort for those outside the Driver’s License Office Traffic Police at Liberty Market, Lahore, especially considering the cold weather.
Continuing his inspection, Minister Naqvi carefully assessed various counters at the driving license office in Liberty, where citizens voiced grievances about long waiting times. In response, he announced a significant change effective December 25th, allowing citizens to schedule appointments in advance when visiting the service center.
Furthermore, CM Naqvi revealed plans for the imminent availability of license and learner application installations on both Android and Apple platforms. Underscoring the government’s commitment to convenience, he assured citizens that license applications could soon be processed seamlessly through the website.
In a broader context, the Chief Minister hinted at upcoming improvements in the working environment of police stations, aligning with the positive changes witnessed in service centers.
